After 15 years leading marketing at every level — from scrappy startups to established global brands — I made a choice to go fractional because I saw the gap and knew I could have more impact at the stage where strategic leadership matters most.
I've held titles like VP Marketing, Head of Demand Generation, and Senior Digital Marketing Manager. What I've learned across all of them is that most marketing problems aren't actually marketing problems. They're strategy problems. Clarity problems. Alignment problems. A brand thinks they need more content when they actually need a better ICP. They think they need a bigger ad budget when they actually have a conversion issue. My job is to diagnose what's really going on — and then fix it.
My background is a bit unusual for a CMO. I started my career ghostwriting for one of Canada's leading tech executives, which gave me a deep foundation in brand storytelling and communications before I ever touched a paid campaign. I’ve led digital strategy for a nationwide multi-restaurant brand, and scaled growth marketing for one of North America's fastest-growing construction tech companies — contributing to 890% revenue growth while taking on a $60B industry that had never been sold to online.
That combination of narrative thinking and performance marketing is what I bring to every engagement: the ability to build brands that resonate and drive measurable results.
I work primarily with eCommerce , SaaS and service-based brands in North America — industries where I know the landscape well and where the problems are familiar enough that I can get to work fast. When full campaign execution or multi-function support is needed, I bring in our team at Kindle & Slate to run things smoothly end-to-end.
